★★★Pretty good but could be better .. some what disappointingI have owned Bum bags for 30 years and used them a lot in adventures and for daily use. I have always chosen to import these from one of two companies REI in the USA or Mountain Equipment Co-op in Canada. Both of these companies have fantastic equipment which are extremely well made. I tried this bum bag as it appeared to be similar to what I would have bought from the alternatives, mainly because it was a Kiwi Company. The bag itself is soundly constructed and having all the pockets is great but there are a few things that I have found to be annoying. 1/ There are no compression straps for stabilizing the contents when jogging and the like, so things get bounced around, which is REALLY irritating. Going to have to use the D Rings and a additional strap to Gerry Rig something us. 2/ The buckle whilst functional seems a little light weight and is fiddly to close. 3/ The waste strap does not slide easily through the buckle when adjustment is required, this may be more the buckle than the strap? 4/ The zips do not open and close as easily as I would have expected, going to try some WD40. Other that that the bag is pretty good. Would I buy another? Not inclined to without the the above having been attended to, which I will be sorting out myself. Would I recommend it .. Not for a serious adventure or frequent user. There are better products out there and for the Money I would import a better tried and true product from elsewhere.
